The Guía Peñín has awarded 93 points to two of the winery’s wines: LaFou de Rams and LaFou de Batea, both from the 2020 vintage.
Regarding LaFou de Rams, the guide highlights its bright yellow colour, rustic and powerful style, with aromas of dried flowers, candied fruit, and pastry notes. On the palate, it is round, spicy, and has a persistent finish.
As for LaFou de Batea, it stands out for its cherry colour with garnet rim and expressive aromas of liqueur-like fruit, black and ripe fruit. On the palate, it is flavourful, long, and has good acidity.
The winery’s other two wines, LaFou Els Amelers 2023 and LaFou El Sender 2021, received 92 and 91 points respectively.
This 36th edition of the Guía Peñín has tasted more than 9,000 wines from over 2,000 wineries.
