The vintages recognized in the Competition were 2020 for LaFou de Rams and 2021 for LaFou de Batea.
LaFou de Rams was awarded Best “Vi Brisat” (orange wine), while LaFou de Batea received the “Great Red Wine Terra Alta” distinction. The awards were presented on Thursday, May 15, during the opening gala of the third edition of the Primavera DO Terra Alta festival, held in Corbera d’Ebre.
Over the weekend, the festival offered a diverse programme that included activities such as the Tardeo in Gandesa, featuring tastings of single-varietal white and hairy grenache wines paired with dishes by chef Vicent Guimerà; the DO Terra Alta Wine Showcase in Batea’s main square; and several live music concerts.
LaFou Celler took part in the official activities of the Primavera DO Terra Alta and also hosted its own events, including guided winery tours and a wine bar area in the courtyard.
